Sale of recycled Zinc
Zinc (from the German Zink, also known as zinc in Spanish) is an essential chemical element of atomic number 30 and Znsymbol. The richest mines contain 10% iron and around 50% zinc. The minerals from which zinc is extracted are: zinc sulphide known as “blende” in Europe; zinc carbonate known as calamine in Europe; hemimorphite (silicate) and franklinite(oxide).
The level at which zinc is recycled has increased, while the technology used in its production continues to advance. Currently, 90% of the zinc available for recycling is recycled, obtaining around 600 tons of zinc scrap, only from recycled brass. Zinc from zinc-protected steel scrap is also increasing.
